  1. I love Warlord Arcanist, great book!! How manny book are left in the series? What is the grim reapers trial of worth? Do you think you would write another series in the same world as the frith guild?

    1. Hey there! Glad you love the series! Really makes my day~
The series will have 1-2 more books!
The grim reaper’s trial of worth would be similar to a reaper’s–killing someone. o.o
And yes, I think I will have a continuation series for sure.

  2. 2 questions. 1. Have you had the whole series planned out since you started knightmare Arcanist, like with volke eventually becoming the world serpent arcanist, or have u developed the plot along the way? 2. I’ve seen the art that gets posted on your Patreon account and u was wondering if you, or someone else, could draw a knightmare arcanist mark?

    Thank you! Love the series

    1. Hello there!
      (1) Yes, I did have the whole series planned out, including Volke becoming the World Serpent Arcanist. Some things get developed along the way (minor characters, subplots, etc.) but the big picture stuff is all the same.
      (2) I will attempt to get an artist who is good enough to get the mark done! I really want one as well. >.>

    1. 1. Yes, there will be! This month has a story with Zaxis. Should be up in a day or two!
      2. I haven’t decided yet. It depends on it goes. As long as the group doesn’t “fail,” of course. o.o

  4. Hi, love your books they are great. When you say you will have a continuation series after 1-2 more books, will the continuation series follow Volke and the guild just a bit of a time skip? Or will it be completely new characters? Keep up the great work, and stay safe.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. It’ll be a time skip that follows new people, but will technically have the original characters play supporting or distant roles. (So glad you enjoy the series! I hope you’re looking forward to more) ❤

  6. Also, I have question about warlord arcanist. They always seem to not really have many star shards but at the end of world serpent and beginning of warlord it mentions that the world serpent lair has hundreds of them. Did they have to use those for something?

    Liked by 1 person

    1. They have several star shards in Warlord Arcanist, but since Volke never uses them to make an artifact, they weren’t brought out. Otherwise, the guild is saving them for when they’ll need them. They still have them, though!

  7. Is the keeper of corpses going to play a role in master arcanist? Also did you invent the words arcanist and eldrin or did those come from something?

  8. Love the whole series so far. And that you responded to me via email. When it came to your characters how did you go about coming up with them? Like is each character based completely on imagination or does each character have a base of someone you know? ( Like does Volke remind you of say a specific friend or family member? ) One series I read the Author told me that the main characters are all loosely based on close friends of theirs.
If you were to bond with a creature which one would it be and Why?
    Have a great day

    1. Hey there! That’s a great question, lol – Sometimes the characters are based on people I know. Gravekeeper William is definitely someone I know in real life. But most of the time it’s just characters I like seeing. Volke is the type of protagonist I love to read about. Honorable, just, and striving to do right, even in situations that are difficult. Demarco (from my Star Marque books) is a “lovable douche bag” as I like to put it, lol – another character type I love to read about! All characters half a small bit of my personality in them (I can’t help it). HOWEVER, while my characters aren’t usually based on people I know, a lot of scenes in my books are based on something that happened to me in real life. Like when Zelfree joined the Frith Guild based on a math question. I actually got a job once because of my ability to do math, so I put that in my book.
Hopefully your day is great as well!

      1. Also after reading the question that prompted this answer, did u create all of the mystical creatures or had u heard if them before? Ofc there are obvious ones like a Phoenix or World serpent, but did u invent knight mares and White Harts? If so that is I very impressive to be able to come up with all of that.

        Liked by 1 person

      2. If I were to bond with a creature, it’d probably be a knightmare. (And I did invent the knightmare! I’m glad you enjoyed). Most creatures are based on real legends, though. The White Hart is an actual creature from legend (a deer so rare and hard to find, that even the greatest hunters in the world couldn’t catch it).

  11. Hello. Enjoyed the frith chronicles very much so far. Excited for more. I have a question about the conversation woth Volke and Terrakona at the end of book 5. Terrakona told Volke that they would live and die as one. Was that just him being dramatic or is that the actual relationship between the god-arcanists and their eldrin? It made aspects of book 6 a little confusing since I took it literally.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. They do live and die as one! My apologies, a few people have asked me about this because of Theasin. [Spoiler] his god-creature dies. Rhys was “saving” the body, so that he could make items from it. o.o (I’m so glad you enjoyed! Trust me, all will be made clear in Master Arcanist, to avoid further confusion)

  19. Hello! In the end of World Serpent Arcanist Terrakona says that the god-arcanist and their eldrin’s destiny’s are intertwined. When Volke killed Thesin the Soul Forge didn’t die? Is there some other reason to that? That question has he’d me confused a bit, but otherwise I love your series, and here reread it twice while waiting for the next book. Thanks.

    1. Hey there! Don’t worry. The soul forge does, in fact, die. It’s my fault for not making it clear enough! It always makes my day! ❤

  20. Hi,

I liked the frith chronicles. It was a series I enjoyed reading after a long time. I have a few questions here-

    1. Assuming Luvi the first world serpent warlord was not aware of the Apoch Dragon, then how did Terrakona know about the Apoch dragon? As Terrakona can only remember based on the memories of that of the previous warlord?

    2. If Decay dust was made of Apoch Dragon, then should it not destroy the shield made out of world serpent scale?

    3. If the mother of shapeshifter and keeper of corpses are born from Progenitor Behemoth, then can they not sense the location of the second Progenitor Behemoth?

    4. Finally as it is already February, when will the next book on Master Arcanist be available?

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Hey there!

Interesting questions! here are the answers:

      1. Terrakona actually gets information from magic itself, and knows of things like the apoch dragon because he is connected to it (along with the other god creatures).
      2. The shield is held together with too many star shards. Decay Dust only breaks down weaker items (as its only a tiny fraction of the apoch dragon).
      3. No, their magics don’t allow that. Which is unfortunate for them. :c
      4. I’m hoping (fingers crossed) for a March release! .>)

      1. Hi,

        Thank you for the response.
I see that there are some gaps on the “Master Arcanist” book. Like how did Orwyn bond with Sky Titan?
If we read the “Arcanist Fables”, Keeper of the Corpses had intended to meet up with his sister – Mother of Shapeshifters. How did Orwyn and Ezril meet and work together?
Also how did the Autarch bond with the Abyssal Kraken?

Are you planning to write a book to fill these gaps?

      2. Hello there!
I do intend to put together a book that explains some of the events Volke wasn’t privy to. Short stories from various characters will be there. As a quick few answers: Ezril and the Keeper of Corpses were recruited by the Second Ascension. Orwyn and the Autarch’s bonding happened after they braved the lairs of their creatures. But all will be detailed! Volke just wasn’t able to see them, I apologize. – Shami

I know that it is probably not going to happen but I hope that when the Apoch Dragon comes and it kills all the god creatures that Volke somehow survives and re-bonds with Luthair and Luthair gets all his memories back. Since Grandmaster Arcanist will be the final book I think it would be cool to make it far longer than all the other books (maybe even longer than a full grown world serpent!). This is probably the only book series that I actually like, and I like it enough to make up for hundreds of books. I wish you luck more powerful than even the Apoch Dragon itself! Thank you for writing this amazing story, I look forward to reading the next book.
