    1. Hey there, Donald! I’m sorry to say, I can’t release it early – it is currently in the editing phase, and once that’s done it has to go through beta readers, then I need to format it. All those tasks take time, and I’d rather put out a completed project than a rushed one. :c (I’m also in CA, so I know how it goes – hopefully you won’t be too bored!)

    I’m hoping the fifth book will be released sometime in October, but since it’s longer than any of the previous books, I can’t be for sure yet! And as of right now, the series is scheduled for 7 books. Hopefully you continue to enjoy them all the way until the end!

  14. When will world serpent arcanist be available for preorder? I know plague arcanist was available for preorder a couple of months before the actual release.

      Just read a copy of Star Marque Rising and really enjoyed it – one of the best sci-fi stories I’ve read for a long time. When will the second and third instalments be published as really keen to get stuck into them?

      1. Would a true form eldrin ever bond again if its arcanist died? And if they did, would the arcanist have the issue of second bonding like Volke had?

    I have a few questions about true forms:
    What virtue did Volk exemplify for Luthair to obtain his true form?
    What is a Knightmare’s apex ability?
    Do god-creatures have a true form?

    1. Hello Justin!

      First off, Volke embodied everything a true knight is, through trial after trial. Conviction to do what is necessary, even in the face of death, is the knightmare’s virtue! The apex ability of the knightmare hasn’t actually been revealed yet! Spoiler alert for the next book!

      And that last question is a major spoiler, so it can’t be answered yet! Hopefully those helped!

      As for the powers, I don’t want spoil anything, but rest assured they will be epic, as the story ramps up to the final stages!

    1. If I had to guess, I would say they are ancestors. Such as how Christian’s are often referred to as sons of Adam. I’m only speculating of course, but I’m sure we’ll find out in the next book

  38. Also does the Apoch Dragon spawn in Warlord Aracanist? The cover of the book shows the sword made out of the Apoch Dragon. Also in the back there is a dragon.

    1. Hello Brandon! I’m glad you’re a fan (you’ve made my day by reaching out)! I don’t have an official release date yet, but I’m aiming for May or June. Before then, we’ll be getting Arcanist Fables, a short story collection told from the viewpoints of other people besides Volke, including the villains. Hopefully you’ll enjoy!

  44. Hi, just picked up your Arcanist books and power read through all five in the last five days. Just finished the last one ( it’s 3:00 am here in India). Great books.

  46. When King Rishan dies, wouldn’t a Knightmare be produced from his body, or would that not count because he murdered his way to get access to the throne.

    1. I believe that because Rishan died in a “duel” of some sort that it won’t count because he wasn’t murdered, he fought in a battle and died. I think that by technicality, it wasn’t murder so a knight mare didn’t spawn. It could also be that he murdered the previous queen to get to his position, but he also didn’t do much to kill her, the King Basilisk arcanist did all of the work. Hope this help a little!
