Today, for no reason other than my own amusement, I decided to doddle a little comic about Smudge the Goblin.

When I was in grammar school, I was one of the smallest kids in my class when I was in 5th or 6th grade I met a very tall boy whose name was Todd one day I was talking with him, and he said I was so small I was like a smudge. He said from that day he would call me Smudge. That name was adopted by all my classmates, and many of them still refer to me as Smudge or Smudgie. I will have to read the story.
